Get a Free Apple iPad

Posted by admin under Computers And Technology on Monday Oct 19, 2009

Would you like to get a brand new Apple iPad, but you do not want to spend the extra money? There are other options out there such as getting one for free! How, you might ask?

A lot of people would automatically suspect or think an idea like this would be some kind of scam or gimmick, but they don’t realize is that there are companies out there that want to inform and show the public about their products and give away free trial offers of their products to gain you as a customer.

By giving away free products, the company can have an opportunity to show you other products and free trial offers that you might be interested in. They also get a lot publicity every time they give away hot products as awesome as the Apple iPad away for free. You win and the company wins, too. I would say its a pretty good deal for everybody.

There are all kinds of products that companies give away for free, but because the Apple iPad is so hot now this their top giveaway. This deal will not last forever, so you better get in on the promotion as soon as possible, so you can get this hot item just for checking out other products.

There are a couple of places to find these types of promotions, just make sure you don’t fall for something that is a scam. If a company wants to charge you a service fee for a free product, then do not pay it is most likely not legit. But…

If you jump on the offer right now, you will have yourself a new Apple iPad in no time.

Apple iPad 3G

Posted by admin under Computers And Technology on Saturday Jun 27, 2009

One of the prominent questions bothering Apple fans at present is whether it would make sense to go for an iPad model that supports 3G wireless service. The 3G model won’t release until late April, as stated by Apple’s official web site. One clear benefit of the 3G support service is that it will be possible to access the web with the iPad’s AT&T 3G wireless coverage. For a gadget focusing so much on Internet accessibility, the additional freedom of iPad 3G compatibility will be a sure-shot advantage. Apart from the minor negligible downsides like the added 0.1 pound heft and the extra charge of $130 to gain the iPad 3G compatibility (in comparison to Wi-Fi-only models), there are no disadvantages to owning the 3G compatible model. In contrast to the data plans of most smartphones, there are no contractual obligations associated with the iPad. In case you end up not using the 3G model, then you always have the option of canceling your data plan at any point of time.

In fact, the deal offered by Apple on its iPad’s 3G service is a pretty good one. Two options are available for the same – a monthly charge of $29.99 for unlimited data, and a monthly charge of $15 for 250MB data. In case of each option, the payment can be made in advance as a prepaid. This 3G wireless service is only compatible with those iPad models offering both 3G and Wi-Fi, which come up to $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB, and $829 for 64GB.

Another advantage of the iPad 3G is its extra capability in assisting GPS, that will enable users to correctly pinpoint a location on the map, thereby making the gadget more functional for location-aware and navigation apps such as tour guides and restaurant finders. All the Wi-Fi-only compatible iPad models use rudimentary triangulation techniques of the Wi-Fi for guessing locations, which are much less consistent and accurate.

Apple iPad Vs Apple MacBook Pro

Posted by admin under Computers And Technology on Monday Jul 28, 2008

While the iPad is generally meant to be a link in products from the iPhone to the MacBook Pro it has a vast number of functions that can be compared to that of the MacBook Pro. The iPad is considered a tablet PC and offers the ease of touch screen technology and portability. The MacBook Pro is considered a laptop PC and offers a bit power and functionality then the iPad while still being relatively portable.

Users of the iPhone may find that the iPad offers much of the same features as the iPad. The difference between the two being that the iPad has a much larger view area. If you are looking for a gadget that offers some basic functions of a PC such as internet, e-mail, word processing, and some applications then the iPad is perfect for you. The MacBook pro on the other hand is a fully functional PC with many more capabilities and infinitely more digital storage space. When designing the iPad I think Apple leaned a bit too much towards the iPhone.

While the size of the iPad is much more convenient to carry around then the MacBook Pro, users will notice a loss in power due to it’s smaller size. Being one of it’s major selling points, the size of the iPad has been reported to have over heating issues when exposed to direct sunlight. Most major electronics are not meant to handle the heat of direct sunlight over extended periods of time however with something like the portability of the iPad, designers should have taken this into consideration.

The MacBook Pro has been on the market for much longer then the iPad. I am sure that the MacBook Pro had it’s share of quirks when it was first produced as well. If you are thinking of adding an iPad to your gadget arsenal consider waiting till the second model comes out. This will give designers a good idea of what can be improved on and you won’t be wasting your money on a prototype model.

All in all I think at this point the macbook pro has my money. I personally own an iPhone and a laptop PC. I can’t think any reason why I would want anything in between. If the iPad operated more on level with the MacBook Pro I could definitely see the attraction to this gadget’s portability perk. Before completely putting the iPad out of mind I would like to see where Apple decides to go with it in the next few years.

A Quick Overview of the Apple iPad

Posted by admin under Computers And Technology on Wednesday Apr 9, 2008

If you have been watching TV or reading any tech magazines lately, then I am sure you are aware of just how huge the buzz is around Apple’s new iPad. This small, yet extremely powerful device is changing the way we do just about everything. The face of the product is simply a piece of multi-touch glass. You control everything with the touch or tap of your finger.

Every single app that you grew accustomed to with your iPhone, has been completely rebuilt to work with the iPad. And with a screen that is 9.7 inches, your apps become much more powerful than they were before. Browsing the web, checking your email or watching a movie has never been so much fun. With the iPad, you are literally holding the internet in your hands.

You hold it just like you would hold a book or magazine you are reading. And when you get ready to turn the page, you do it the exact same way you would with a magazine or book. One of my favorite things about the iPad is that there is no right or wrong way to hold it. No matter which way you turn it, the orientation automatically adjusts.

The UI, or the user interface, is extremely simple and fun. You see something you like, you just tap it and it opens up. If you need to scroll down, just take your finger and scroll down. It is that simple. Nothing overly complicated or confusing. I must say, the iPad is truly going to change the way we do everything.

Apple iPad Review

Posted by admin under Computers And Technology on Thursday Apr 3, 2008

Apple one more time proved its capability to build a product that not only looks good but also feels great in one’s hand. The bigger screen of the iPad is good to use with the interface similar to the iPhone and iPod touch.

The gaming platform is great and you can view full size web pages when you are browsing through internet. Web browsing through the iPad is much better than iPhone. The bigger screen together with much easier way to flick through photos, music and movies makes this iPad a better option than a laptop. It has iWork suite which is touch optimised and very easy to operate. Thus this suite makes the iPad more than a gaming device. IPad’s e-reader application is quite a hit among the users. You can view a virtual bookshelf which is one of the Apple’s best creations. This will give a delightful reading experience. You can turn each page with swiping gesture or a tap in the right hand margins.

There are some functionality defects with the iPad which makes it not so popular among the customers. The iPad lacks Flash support which is a major drawback. Then there is no multi-task facility in the iPad. You cannot browse the web and listen to songs in your play list at the same time. The iPad is elegant device which gadget lovers may lust for but there’s not much advantage over any smart phone or laptop. It would be a good gaming device if not much.

iPad Uncovered

Posted by admin under Computers And Technology on Tuesday Feb 26, 2008

The New Kid on the Block

The Apple iPad has gone the same way as other by causing something of stir in the technology world. Most Apple products have this effect and I think it is just part of the way that the brand is marketed. The iPad is a new gadget that promises to give us portable entertainment. The services that you get with Apple iPad are quite impressive and they include the ability to watch movies, access eBooks, listen to music and send email with a wireless connection.

The Apple iPad is building on the success achieved by the iPod Touch but with a much larger screen. Weighing in at 1.5 pounds, the Apple iPad has acquired a battery life of up to ten hours which means that it can actually be a tool for mobile computing. One of the great advantages of the Apple iPad is that it can store Apple applications. This is going to be crucial for previous Apple users who will not want to struggle with unfamiliar technology.

There is the obligator keyboard onscreen which allows for typing without having physical keys. If you have bought the ones with a smaller screen this facility is not very practical to use. For an original price of nearly five hundred dollars, the iPad will be able to access the internet. However like any mobile computing device, there are some heavy duty functionalities that might be beyond it. Therefore the confidence in the system must be tempered with a realization that it is a work in progress.

The Apple iPad – Ingenuity at Its Finest

Posted by admin under Computers And Technology on Sunday Nov 25, 2007

I must say, the new Apple iPad is truly ingenuity at its finest. The Apple team never ceases to amaze people. The iPad, which, at the time I am writing this article, isn’t even out yet, has built up so much buzz that over half a million people pre-ordered one. That’s crazy. What is so great about this device that makes so many people want a piece of it before it even comes out?

Well, for one, it just looks really cool. I mean hey, when it boils down to it, no one wants a device that is not pleasing to the eye. The sleek, thin design coupled with all that the iPad can do, makes it a mind blowing piece of technology. The way you view the web has just become more fun and more interactive. And because the iPad is so light, you can view the web just about anywhere and any way you want.

You hold it in your hand the same way you would hold your favorite magazine in your hand. With your index finger, you just tap and go. When you are browsing the web, you browse the way you want to. You are not confined to viewing web pages in just one mode. You can view them in either landscape or portrait. When you turn the iPad, it automatically rotates and expands, so you can clearly read everything on the screen.

You can also view all of your open pages on a grid, which makes it really easy to go back and forth through different websites.

Apple Wants You As an iPad Tester

Posted by admin under Computers And Technology on Thursday Nov 8, 2007

Apple has recently launched its newest gadget, which is said to soar to greater heights than the Apple iPhone. This new gadget is a tablet computer called the Apple iPad. Fans of the company cannot wait to get their hands on this sleek, ultra-hip and stylish technology, which are also making tech bloggers’ lives a lot easier – they have so much to rave about the iPad.

Indeed, the Apple iPad is a must-have item. If you want to own one without having to spend your hard-earned cash, you are reading the right article.

Plan of Action

You can be an iPad tester! Yes, all you have to do is find a website that offers you the chance to test an iPad, register by filling out forms and answering surveys, and you get to keep the iPad for your leisurely use. It is that simple.

By signing up to be an iPad tester, you get to use the iPad before the rest of the consumer world does, and own it for good minus the expenses. Apple needs your opinion on their new product and as a thank you gesture for your two cents, they are giving you one for free. How cool is that!

Just remember, there is no need to pay any registration fee or any kind of charges in order to become an iPad tester. If you find a site that asks for upfront payment, DO NOT register. It is a scam! Fraudulent sites abound, especially this time when people are looking forward to the release of the iPad and many will do anything just to get one, for free in particular.

Do not allow yourself to fall victim to illegal and fraudulent sites. Be a wise consumer.
